The Kuwait National Guard aims to build a marina and swimming facility for its officers at their existing officers club south of Messilah on the eastern coast of Kuwait. The works involve creating a harbour enclosure by building two breakwaters out from the existing shoreline to a distance approximately 700m offshore. Project components include mixed use buildings of 1200 apartments overlooking two marinas, several mosques, community facilities, retail units, five hotels, and villas fronting onto a 6km man made canal with quay wall edges.
